Daffodil - Black
Ethically Made
We are not fast fashion.
The fashion industry is the second highest polluting sector in the world. It is essential to us that we created a sustainable, ethical approach to production.
We’re looking to create high quality clothing that will last for years, that you’ll want to keep wearing. We’ve sourced high quality, organic cotton products that are both planet and people friendly.
We’re committed to not releasing in seasons. Our product range will grow slowly as we grow as a company. We are very focused with our aim to encourage people to buy less, but buy better, without breaking the bank.
Organic Cotton
Understanding the benefits
Organic Cotton is created with the environment in mind, the process doesn't use any pesticides which leaves the natural wax on the cotton buds making it feel even softer.
Pesticide grown cotton can leave an irritant texture to clothing which has been noticed by many customers at certain big fashion retailers.
Clothing made from organic cottons have a similar feel to linen, without the extra weight. Natural cottons are not chemically stripped of their natural wax, so they have a natural smoothness to them.
Supreme Quality
Not all clothing is made the same
Organic cotton leaves natural wax so clothing feels softer, non organic cotton that's rush farmed can feel scratchy.
Even when you've got good cotton there are still a lot of steps that can improve the quality and longevity of the garment.
Combed - This is an extremely softer version of regular cotton, it's an extra step most people would skip. Impurities are combed out with fine brushes removing any short cotton fibers, this removes around 16% of the volume.
Ring Spun - Appose to traditional methods, ring spun cotton is spun using ring frames. This means the cotton finer, softer and more durable. Another added advantage is a tighter more uniform top allowing our prints to be even more crisp.
Printing
We use industry leading super soft water based inks, this allows us to print big complex designs that you'll love, but won't feel on your skin.
It's pointless to create an exceptional quality garment and cheap out on the printing.
Grams per Square Metre
Understranding weight
GSM is a metric used to show how dense a fabric will be. This can typically be used as a good metric for quality too, it usually costs more to produce a garment with higher GSM.
Our T-Shirts are 180gsm - an all season weight leaning to heavy weight
Our Hoodies are 350gsm - heavy and reassuring
